Tie Dye Rinse Instructions
Congratulations on creating your unique tie-dye masterpiece! Follow these steps carefully to rinse out your project and set the dyes for lasting vibrancy.

What You'll Need:
 * Your tied-up tie dye project
 * Latex/Nitril/Rubber gloves (optional, but recommended)
 * A sink or utility tub with running water
 * Dye-safe detergent (like Synthrapol or a mild laundry detergent)
 * Access to a washing machine

Step-by-Step Rinse:

  1. Let it Cure (Crucial!):
       * Leave your tied-up, dyed project in a plastic bag or wrapped in plastic for at least 24 hours (preferably 48 hours). This allows the dye to fully bond with the fabric. The longer it cures, the more vibrant your colors will be.
       * Store it in a warm, consistent temperature, away from direct sunlight.
  2. Initial Rinse (Still Tied!):
       * Put on your gloves if you're concerned about staining your hands.
       * Take your project, still tied up, to a sink or utility tub.
       * Rinse it under cool running water. You'll see a lot of excess dye washing away – this is normal!
       * Continue rinsing until the water runs mostly clear. This might take a few minutes.
  3. Untie and Rinse Again:
       * Once the water runs mostly clear while tied, it's time to carefully untie your project.
       * Open it up and continue rinsing under cool running water.
       * Gently separate the layers of fabric to ensure all excess dye is washed out.
       * Keep rinsing until the water runs completely clear from all parts of the fabric.
  4. First Wash (Separate!):
       * Once the water runs clear, it's time for the first wash.
       * Wash your tie-dye project by itself in a washing machine. Do NOT wash it with other clothes, especially light-colored ones, as residual dye can still bleed.
       * Use hot water and a small amount of dye-safe detergent (or a mild laundry detergent). Hot water helps to remove any unbonded dye.
      * Run a full wash cycle.
  5. Second Wash (Optional, but Recommended):
       * For extra peace of mind, especially with very dark or vibrant colors, you can run a second wash cycle.
       * You can now wash it with similar dark-colored items, but it's still safest to wash it alone or with other tie-dye projects for the first few washes.
       * Use hot water and detergent again.
  6. Dry Your Masterpiece:
       * You can tumble dry your tie-dye project on a regular setting, or hang it to air dry.

Care Instructions for Future Washes:
 * For the first few washes, continue to wash your tie-dye separately or with similar dark colors to prevent any potential bleeding onto other garments.
 * After a few washes, you can typically wash it with your regular laundry, but always be mindful of mixing it with very light-colored items.
 * Wash in cold water to help preserve color vibrancy over time.

Enjoy your amazing, one-of-a-kind tie dye creation!
